Aasif Ashraf is a Full-Stack Developer based in Jammu & Kashmir, India. He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Punjab Technical University (2016–2020) and has been working professionally in software development since April 2024.
He currently works as a Software Developer at Chinar Quantum AI (CQAI), where he develops and maintains production applications using Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, MongoDB, and Neon PostgreSQL. His day-to-day work spans the full stack: designing database schemas and Prisma models, building type-safe REST APIs and Server Actions, implementing authentication and role-based access control, and shipping data-driven dashboards.
Aasif specialises in the MERN stack and the modern Next.js App Router ecosystem. He favours a type-safety-first approach using TypeScript and Zod, obsesses over Core Web Vitals and user experience, and takes end-to-end ownership from schema design through Vercel production deployment.
Beyond client work, Aasif contributes to open source. He is the author of create-express-kickstart, an MIT-licensed npm CLI that scaffolds production-ready Express.js APIs with optional JWT auth, MongoDB, Docker, and Jest testing modules.
